Welcome. University of California, Irvine Foundation, a public nonprofit corporation, was formed in 1967 to benefit the students, the faculty and the research and educational programs at UC Irvine.
The Foundation's mission is to increase private gifts and grants and to wisely manage assets in support of UC Irvine priorities.
The members of the Foundation are business and community leaders who share UC Irvine's vision to have the campus be regarded among the country's very best research universities. Foundation members believe that, in order to have a world-class community, you must have a world-class university.
Rising to a New Level of Excellence
Orange County has the 25th largest economy in the world and is the second largest county in California. A vast array of international and influential corporations have selected Orange County as the location for their corporate headquarters. Many of the chief executives of these companies participate on University of California, Irvine Foundation board as trustees and ambassadors, providing invaluable counsel and global perspective to the university.
In recent years, University of California, Irvine Foundation has played an important role in significantly increasing the university's annual fund raising totals.
